Meeting of the Minds II will be a full weekend musical extravaganza featuring 17 bands, late-night jams, fire performances, numerous solo artists, light shows, kids activities, food & craft vendors, camping, and music.

The site, located just 20 miles north of Allentown, is a beautiful 30-acre, privately owned property in Wind Gap, PA. Our new venue features plenty of woodsy camping, permanent stage, showers, and electricity access for RV’s.

Join us for a weekend of madness and mayhem as we attempt to conjure up some of that small festival energy which helped our Some Kind of Jam series of festivals gain underground adoration.

As always, Jibberjazz will showcase a wide variety of musical styles including Jam, Funk, Bluegrass, Folk, Blues, Rock etc. Join us for the festival as we cement our position as both an early and late season musical destination.

JIMKATA Jimkata is a concept that has been brewing for much longer than it's first year of road exposure throughout 2007. Influenced by the 90's childhoods of its' members, the music calls upon the likes of Rage Against the Machine, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Ween, Dr. Dre, and the Chemical Brothers. Now they are on an endless pursuit to find a sound that is both new and timeless. Although inspired by the world of improvisational music, Jimkata focuses on song structure, textures, layers, and vibrant lyrics. By the end of a Jimkata show you will leave feeling explosive, powerful and alive.

CABINET Coviello and his mandolin-playing songwriting partner JP Biondo formed the nucleus of Cabinet before the rest of the band came along. JP's cousin, Pat Biondo, recently moved to the area from Cleveland and was assimilated into the group after agreeing to learn a new skill. "I played guitar for years and when I wanted to join the band, they already had a guitar. Someone had a banjo lying around, so I started to learn how to play the banjo." Todd Kopec adds another bluegrassy element dynamic with his fiddle while Dylan Skursky's nimble fingers on the upright bass supplements the rest of the ensemble well. Oh, and did I mention that they all sing? Three and four-part harmonies are a regular part of the show.

HEXBELT Hexbelt truly is a unique band in an age of increasingly generic modern music. What the critics are saying... "Solid groovin' in the pocket rock with an experimental edge that moves through the spectrum of blues, funk, ska and rip-snortin raging rock-n-roll with a prevalent hippie anarchist punk attitude running throughout." - 3D monthly music review "...An original rock and roll band, they are difficult to pigeonhole...a weird hybrid of rock, reggae and blues, all melded into languid tunes that people . " - Lancaster Intelligencer Journal

We come from different walks of life but form a quartet of friendship and musical experimentation. Our philosophy is that there are two types of people in the world, those who love bluegrass and those who don't know it yet. Settle in and enjoy the experiment......

TRIPPIN ON NOTHING Displaced peoples are “persons or groups of persons who have been forced to flee or to leave their homes to avoid conflict or disaster, but still remain in their country ”. When a band sets out to shed stylistic trappings and clichés, they are left without a genre. This band is what music sounds like when musicians are left to their own devices. No pop songs here. Fusion, instrumental, original.

FELLSWOOPIn the Fall of 2007, a new band emerged from  Pennsylvania 's Lehigh Valley and they were crafting a unique sound that soon-to-be fans would describe as "refreshing" and "like nothing else.” Fellswoop pulls their influences from contemporary artists and mixes it with the traditional sounds that once echoed down through the valley from the surrounding mountains. 25-year old multi-instrumentalist Chris Murphy, fronts the band with a prominent acoustic guitar style and heartfelt vocals; often drifting from the usual bluegrass formula, into a less-predictable, improvisational style; utilizing foot pedals and acoustic effects. Chris’s sound is accompanied by JP on the five string banjo, with whom he started the band. JP’s past experience spans a plethora of regional and touring bands, as well as 20+ years of experience as a drummer with both formal and on-the-job training. Chris and JP quickly realized the potential that lie ahead after their first gig in Philadelphia . The crowd was enthusiastic, and nothing less than adamant in their request for “one more song.
