OPEN FRIDAY AND SATURDAY 10AM TO 5PM
Here at Jibberjazz, we honor the whole family! Come to the Kids Area and choose from a variety of FUN-tastic activities! Get your face painted, make a necklace, make an instrument to play along with Dave Fry on Saturday, create a wand and most importantly, GET SILLY! We also have good old paint, markers, crayons and paper for our younger friends. There will also be a few special offerings at the Kids Area...

Dave will spin folk and rock n' roll tunes, play-songs and dance beats on guitar, banjo and mandolin, and invite the kids to dig into his magical bag of rhythm instruments for a real family jam. Fun, active and intelligent kids' music.

It's the perfect time of year for flying a kite, so come on over and make your own!

"Festival Survival Guide and Nutrition" (Matt The Good Guy, Aunt D, Ashley Roadtrip Rames)
This workshop is a must for first-time festival goers, and a great place for even the seasoned veterans.  Learn about camping tips and snacks that last and fill you up with certified nutritionist Ashley Roadtrip Rames. Meet outside the Indoor Jamhouse.

"Drumming" (Little James)
Basics on drumming, drum style or making noise. Bring 'em if you got 'em. Meet outside the Indoor Jamhouse.

SATURDAY 2:00PM
"Camp Games" (Hank Finkel)
Bring your friends and neighbors, and meet us at the Main Stage area for some fun and interactive games.  Everybody plays, everybody wins!

SATURDAY 3:30PM
"Fire in the Soul Flow Toy Sessions" (Amanda and Riki)
From hoops to poi, come learn how to play with your favorite toys. Bring your own if possible, there will be limited equipment available. Bring socks and tennis balls to make your own practice poi. Meet at the Main Stage area.

SATURDAY 4:00PM
"Introduction to GEOCACHING" (Happy)
The do's, the don'ts, and the etiquette of the real-world treasure hunting game. Meet outside the Indoor Jamhouse.


SATURDAY 4:30PM
"A Bluesman's Overview Of The Blues" (Randy Lippincott)
A brief history of the music's origin. Various topics will be discussed including: Delta blues, electric blues, influences on folk music, early British and American rock music, and a short talk on Randy's experiences.  The discussion will include performance as examples.


SATURDAY 5:30PM
"SKOJ Parade"
Featuring Juggernaut String Band and the 3rd annual SKOJ9 Vendor Fashion Show
Meet at 5:15PM at the My Best Fest booth. Do up your hair, dress up your dog, or display your campsite flag. Just make sure you drag your neighbor on down to this finger-pickin', spoon-slappin' dance procession through the venue. Volunteer models are wanted to showcase some of the finest vendor wares. Sign up at the My Best Fest booth, where the parade begins.


YOGA

FRIDAY 5:00-6:15PM
"Kundalini Yoga: Aligning the Chakras for a Taste of Bliss" (The Blue Goddess)
This is a beginner/intermediate level class and will be quite physical and highly meditative. Class will take place behind the Main Stage, near the river. Please bring a mat/blanket/towel and water. Meet outside the Indoor Jamhouse.

SATURDAY 9:30-10:45AM
"Rise & Shine Flow Yoga" (Alyssa Clauss)
This fun flow class is for everyone, beginners are welcome! Modifications will be given to accommodate both advanced beginners and experienced practitioner.  Please bring a mat/blanket/towel and water. Meet outside the Indoor Jamhouse.

SATURDAY 11:00AM-12:15PM
"Kundalini Yoga: Awakening the Chakras to Heal the Self" (The Blue Goddess)
This is a beginner/intermediate level class, and will be quite physical and highly meditative.  Class will take place behind the Main Stage, near the river.  Please bring a mat/blanket/towel and water.  Meet outside the Indoor Jamhouse.

SATURDAY 5:00-6:15PM
"Kundalini Yoga: Balancing & Healing the Chakras & Their Corresponding Organs” (The Blue Goddess)

MEDITATION

SATURDAY 12:30PM
"Introduction to Meditation" (Leah from My Best Fest)
Have you always wanted to try meditation, but don't know where to begin?  Leah will talk you through your first experience with breath cues and guided imagery.  Clear your mind, and settle into the present moment.  Meet outside the Indoor Jamhouse.


OPEN MIC
Keep your eyes and ears open for the roaming, random Open Mic Mobile. One acoustic guitar and one vocal microphone are provided. For those who would like to bring their own instruments, the system is comprised of a double-input combo amplifier with one XLR input and cable, and one 1/4" instrument input and cable.


SPORTS
During daylight hours, there will be a soccer goal, horseshoe pit, bocce, a basketball hoop, and a host of other random games taking place throughout the grounds.


FISHING
Bear Creek is accessible and usable for fishing with a valid permit. Visit the PA Fish & Boat Commission website for more information.


HIKING
Besides the various hiking trails that border the fairgrounds, The Appalachian Trail crosses route 183 less than 5 miles south of the festival site and Hawk Mountain Sanctuary is about 14 miles from the fairgrounds as well.
